Painting Workshop with Ghone

Painting Workshop mit Ghone

KidsKultur at BBA Gallery Berlin
On Friday, August 14, 2026, KidsKultur invites children to a unique creative experience at BBA Gallery Berlin: the Kids' Group Painting Workshop, where children will collaboratively create a large-scale artwork and become active creators themselves.
Together with the four-year-old artist Thanaghone Wattanasiritham (Ghone), whose works are currently presented in the exhibition “State of Play” at BBA Gallery, children will have the unique opportunity not only to observe art, but to become part of an artistic dialogue themselves.
At only four years old, Ghone is one of the youngest artists in Southeast Asia. His intuitive, abstract works emerge from curiosity, play, and limitless imagination. Using everyday materials such as toys, sponges, and natural objects, he creates complex textures and transforms the canvas into a space of exploration and discovery. The exhibition “State of Play” demonstrates how art can emerge from a natural childhood impulse – free from expectations, judgment, and fixed rules.
The workshop will be pedagogically guided by Firouz Mostovfi, founder of KidsKultur and expert in children’s cultural education, within an age-appropriate and supportive environment. The focus is not only on the finished artwork, but on the creative process itself: children discover their own forms of expression, experiment freely with colors and materials, and experience art as a living space for imagination, connection, and personal development.
What makes this event truly special is the combination of contemporary art, children’s creativity, and KidsKultur’s holistic Mind, Body & Soul approach. Art is not understood merely as a visual experience, but as a process that engages the whole child – their thoughts, senses, emotions, and personal expression.

Mind, Body & Soul

Mind – represents curiosity, imagination, and the ability to develop new perspectives.
Body – represents direct experience through movement, materials, colors, and the active process of creating with one’s own hands.
Soul – represents self-confidence, emotional expression, and the experience of being seen and heard through one’s own creativity.

Children are encouraged to explore, experiment, move, create, and develop their own artistic language. The uniqueness of this workshop lies in the fact that children are not simply participating in a creative activity – they are gaining authentic access to the world of art: inside a professional gallery, alongside a young artist, and supported by a pedagogy that recognizes children as curious, capable, and creative individuals.
This creates a unique space where art, education, and childhood development come together – an experience that connects Mind, Body, and Soul.
