Cultural Education in Germany is Mandatory, Not a Bonus

The implementation of cultural education in early childhood centers and schools is legally mandated and crucial for the holistic development of children. In addition to nationwide regulations, specific educational plans in the federal states promote cultural education. However, challenges such as resource shortages and a lack of intercultural sensitivity still exist.

Children today are increasingly confronted with complex issues and an uncertain future. This can lead to fears, insecurities, confusion, and frustration, often making them more sensitive to the moods and reactions of adults. The children's fruitless search for explanations burdens them and overwhelms the adults.

I offer practical training for educational professionals to help them enhance the cultural competencies of children. In my workshops, theoretical foundations of cultural education are collaboratively developed, practical examples are discussed, and individual methods are created, followed by reflection and evaluation phases.
